Milk or MILK

What is pasteurized, homogenized milk? You keep hundreds or even thousands of cows fed corn, grain and other unnatural foods in a big holding pen so they are stressed and sick much of the time and therefore you have to give them antibiotics and other drugs. Then you mix all their milk together and boil it all beyond recognition – so it is and denatured with all its heathy enzymes and bacteria (necessary for healthy intestines) destroyed.  Then you add chemicals to what was a perfect food. 

It is now so bizarre that if you feed this pasteurized gunk to baby cows (calves) they will die.  That’s true – baby cows fed pasteurized milk die.
So why is it ok for us humans to drink it?  (It isn’t).
On a personal note, my family doesn’t touch that stuff.  It has been described as “chalk water” by farmers.  If your kids had real (raw) milk they’d immediately taste the difference.

It’s a waste of money and actually has been shown to cause sickness.
Instead do a little search for real milk – the kind cows produce – its the perfect health food. Go to www.westonaprice.org. There’s a search feature for getting “raw” milk.

In the meantime please stay away from pasteurized, homogenized milk – especially avoid anything low-fat, reduced-fat or non-fat.  Good fat is necessary for healthy, happy, robust, active children.  Not the unnatural stuff.  And even if its labeled “organic” if its pasteurized milk then it’s still dead.  Spend a little extra time and give your kids healthy, real milk.
